Job creation aids our economy, signifies growth and prosperity, and creates self-sufficiency opportunities for residents of our community. VEDC’s Economic Development Division consists of a series of programs and services designed for Revitalization, Asset Building and Job Creation.

The programs produce a more skilled workforce by reducing barriers to employment in communities of high unemployment and persistent poverty; and to foster entrepreneurial opportunities for individuals.
