Los Angeles, CA - Are you looking for money for your small business? As a result of the economic crisis small business owners have found it more and more difficult to get the financing they need to stay in business, expand or even get started. During this credit crunch - there is help. VEDC will host its 8th annual Where's the Money?® Access to Capital Business Expo on Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Los Angeles Downtown, 711 South Hope Street, Los Angeles. There will be banks that are ready to lend the money your business needs now!
Where's the Money? is a comprehensive access to capital event ideal for business owners looking for money for working capital, inventory, expansion, commercial real estate or equipment purchase. This year's event includes a networking breakfast and a formal luncheon featuring City Controller Wendy Greuel, U.S. Small Business Administration District Director Victor Parker.
This year features keynote speaker Alex Fortunati, Founder and CEO of Support Services of America, Inc., Support Services of America is a national Facilities maintenance and Management Company he founded in 1996. Mr. Fortunati has built one of the most extensive national infrastructures of project-ready personnel and has been recognized as the number one Hispanic owned firms in North America. Alex started his first company as an immigrant at 17 years old and it has grown into a $50 million business. His story is inspiring and he will be sharing these insights during the luncheon.
There will be workshops from a wide range of business resource providers, a business expo and a loan pavilion, where business owners can schedule a one-on-one with an expert loan consultant. Strategies for business growth will be featured as well as traditional access to capital solutions. Workshop topics focus on sources of unconventional financing and what it takes to qualify; sources of unconventional financing and experience and Advice from real entrepreneurs.
